如何加入测试版 - How to join the beta

• Open Steam and right-click Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era in your library.
• 打开 Steam，在资料库中右键点击《英雄无敌：上古纪元》。
• Select "Properties" → "Game Versions & Betas".
• 选择「属性」→「游戏版本与测试版」。
• In the "Game Versions & Betas" section, select the public-test-branch branch.

• Wait for Steam to download the update and launch the game as usual.
• 等待 Steam 下载更新，然后照常启动游戏。
• In some cases, you'll need to restart the Steam application for the Beta branch to appear.

如何返回主版本 - How to return to the main version

• In the same "Game Versions & Betas" tab, select "Default Public Version".

存档 - Saves

• Beta saves are stored in the saves_beta and campSaving_beta folders.

• When you switch to the beta, your save list will be empty. This is normal: your saves are still there and will reappear once you switch back to the main version.

• Cloud saves are disabled in the beta.

• To play together, all players must be using the same game version. Beta players will play on a separate server with other beta players.
